Former Konga CEO Nick Imudia Commits Suicide

Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Nigerian e-commerce giant Konga and most recently the CEO of D.light, a leading company in residential solar energy solutions, has allegedly committed suicide.

The tragic incident reportedly occurred on the night of Tuesday, June 25, when Imudia jumped from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos.

Sources revealed that prior to taking his life, Imudia made a series of phone calls.

He contacted his brother in the United States to provide instructions on how to distribute his wealth in the event of his death.

He also reached out to his young daughter from a previous relationship, reassuring her that he would always be with her in spirit and that she could find comfort by looking up at the sky.

The news of Imudia’s death has left his friends, family, and associates in shock, as there were no apparent signs or explanations for his decision.

The reasons behind his tragic action remain unclear.

Nick Imudia hailed from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.

He was previously married to the mother of his young daughter, but the marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.

Before his tenure at Konga, Imudia held significant positions, including regional director at TCL/Alcatel and GM/MD for West and Central Africa at Microsoft Device and Services.
