Frederick Elated To Sign Permanent Contract With Brentford

Following the signing of a long-term contract with Brentford, Benjamin Frederick is delighted.

The youthful center defender, who spent some time with the team on loan initially, signed a four-year contract, the Bees said Tuesday.

Frederick said he will be more motivated to perform if he has the opportunity to stay with the team when his loan period ends.

Frederick admitted that getting the chance to remain at the club beyond his loan spell will motivate him to do better.

“Neil and the rest of the coaching team have been very patient and supportive throughout this season and they have helped me become a stronger more confident player in the process.

“I want to repay the club’s trust in me by continuing to do my best and pushing to even greater heights.”

Frederick is expected to remain with Brentford’s B Team and will occasionally train with main team.

He was named as a substitute for Brentford’s Premier League games against Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as both Emirates FA Cup third-round matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
