Fubara Swears In Five New Commissioners, Two SAs

Governor of Rivers State Siminalayi Fubara has sworn in two special advisers and five new commissioners in the executive chambers of Government House in Port Harcourt.

Speaking to the recently appointed officials on Wednesday, the governor asked them to avoid reacting to the provocations of his political rivals with words or deeds.

He claimed that his opponents want to take the administration’s attention away from accomplishing its goals and that it is crucial to be committed to and focused on the administration’s aims.

To Fubara, the appointments are made to better equip the cabinet to deliver on its promises to the people of Rivers State.

He asserted that in the end, the state’s citizens who seek outcomes would not care how many court rulings were obtained or how many demonstrations were held.

Governor Fubara conveyed his gratitude for the appointees’ devotion, especially their pledge to uphold justice and the truth in their individual communities.

The newly appointed commissioners were screened and confirmed by the Rivers State House of Assembly, led by Victor Oko-Jumbo on Tuesday.
