The annual Globe Soccer Awards, a star-studded celebration honouring the finest and brightest in football, once again wowed the football community.
Famous football players took the stage to accept their well-earned awards throughout the event, which was hosted by the gorgeous Italian TV host Melissa Satta.
Spanish footballing icons Mikel Arteta, Xabi Alonso, and Cesc Fabregas shone brightly amid the glitz and glamour of the Globe Soccer Awards, taking centre stage alongside their renowned partners. With his wife Lorena Bernal by his side, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was beaming with joy after winning the “Best Premier League Coach” title.
Despite the challenges faced by the North London team in the just-concluded Premier League season, Arteta’s unwavering determination and belief in victory echoed through his acceptance speech.
Joining Arteta in the limelight was his compatriot and longtime friend, Xabi Alonso, accompanied by his wife Nagore Aranburu.
The couple was present as Alonso clinched the title of “Best Coach of the Year” for his remarkable achievements with Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal, having become the firstt team in history to finish a season unbeaten.
Completing the triumphant Spanish trio was former Barcelona, Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, graced by the presence of his wife Daniela Semaan.
Fabregas’ remarkable feat of leading Como 1907 to Serie A promotion earned him the prestigious “Globe Soccer Comeback Award,”.
Other winners on the evening included Barcelona stars, Robert Lewandowski and Ilkay Gudnogan who were named in the LaLiga Team of the Season.
The 35-year-old Polish striker graced the occasion alongside his wife Anna at the bash.
Meanwhile, outgoing PSG star Kylian Mbappe, attended the event in all black as he picked up his “Best European Player” award.
Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, 46, won the “Player Career Award”, having finally hung up his gloves last season.
Manchester City collected the “Best Men’s Club of the Year” while Barcelona, won the same award in the women’s category after completing another quadruple and winning the Champions League.
Bayer Munich star Harry Kane won the “Best Goalscorer” gong, with Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal winning the “Emerging Player” of the year award.
