Governor Radda establishes Bureau of Statistics for data-driven governance in Katsina state

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, has emphasized the state’s dedication to enhancing governance through a data-driven approach, highlighted by the creation of the Bureau of Statistics.

This initiative aims to collect accurate, real-time data across key sectors like education, healthcare, and agriculture to inform government policies and interventions.

In an interview with newsmen, the Governor shared that this effort will offer a clearer understanding of the state’s development progress. “We have made significant strides in education, and we established the Bureau of Statistics to accurately capture the state’s true situation,” he said.

Governor Radda further explained that these surveys are vital for gaining essential insights into sectors such as education, healthcare, and agriculture, ensuring that policies are based on reliable and precise data.
