Governor Seyi Makinde Approves Minor Cabinet Reshuffle in Oyo State

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has implemented a minor cabinet reshuffle, resulting in the reassignment of key commissioners within his administration. The changes are effective immediately.

Ademola Ojo, formerly the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment, and Cooperatives, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters. Ojo brings to this role his experience as a former chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, Oyo State chapter.

Hon. Segun Olayiwola, who previously oversaw the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, will now serve as the Commissioner for Establishment and Training. This move is aimed at leveraging his expertise in governance and local administration in a new capacity.

Adeniyi Adebisi, the erstwhile Commissioner for Establishment and Training, will take over as the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment, and Cooperatives. Adebisi’s previous experience in establishment and training is expected to provide a fresh perspective on trade and investment initiatives within the state.
