Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has assured international investors of his administration’s unrelenting commitment to creating a conducive environment for businesses, particularly in agriculture and industrial development.

Speaking at the Africa Investment Forum (AIF) Market Days 2024 in Rabat, Morocco, Sani emphasized that Kaduna’s focus on agro-industrial growth aligns with Africa’s broader development goals.

Highlighting the theme of the event, “Leveraging Innovative Partnerships for Scale,” Governor Sani tied the discussions on industrialization, human capital development, and SME growth to Kaduna’s economic agenda.

“Our focus on agriculture productivity and agro-industrial development aligns perfectly with the goals of this forum,” Sani said.

He further noted his administration’s commitment to promoting value chains from cultivation to processing to enhance Special Agro-Processing Zones (SAPZ) in the state.

The governor also used the opportunity to pursue partnerships for developing a world-class industrial zone in Kaduna, stating, “Our suite of incentives for businesses continues to attract global development partners and investment across various sectors.”

The Africa Investment Forum, which convened leaders, business executives, and SMEs across the continent, aimed to address challenges such as financing, institutional gaps, and political risks to industrialization. As the event concludes with actionable strategies for growth, Governor Sani reaffirmed Kaduna State’s readiness to serve as a hub for innovation, industrialization, and investment in Nigeria.
