At the end of the season, Chuba Akpom said that Ajax will decide his future.
The forward, who was born in Nigeria and joined the Eredivisie giants from Middlesbrough last summer, has been linked to a move back to England.
Fulham and Nottingham Forest are serious rivals for his signature.
Akpom stated that it is up to Ajax to decide where he will be playing his football next season.
“I don’t know yet what the club wants. I just want to have fun and play football, it doesn’t matter where. We have two more games to play and then we will see what will happen,”he told ESPN via Voetbal International.
“I cannot predict the future. The most important thing is that I enjoy it. Whether I start or have to come from the bench, I do what I have to do.”
Akpom has registered 15 goals and two assists in 34 games across all competitions for Ajax.
