I Will Buy Disney Shares If Nelson Gets Elected to The Board – Elon Musk

Billionaire investor Elon Musk has made it clear that he wants to purchase shares in The Walt Disney Company, also known as Disney, an American multinational mass media and entertainment company.

Nevertheless, he said that he would only comply if activist investor Nelson Peltz was elected to the Disney board of directors.

Recall that Peltz lost a challenge to Disney’s board with a majority of stakeholders voting against him.

Musk, who was just named Chief Diversity Officer of Disney, responded by saying that based on Peltz’s background, he thought the firm might benefit greatly from his services.

In his words via X;

“Nelson Peltz should definitely be on the Disney board!

“He would help reform the company, improve the quality of product and generally serve in the best interests of shareholders, as he has done at many other companies.

“This would significantly improve Disney’s share price.

“While I don’t own any Disney shares today, I would definitely buy their shares if Nelson were elected to the board.

“His track record is excellent.”
