“They said I was gay, and that shocked me to my balls,” Arukwe said with a laugh. “I was excited too, because I heard that when people start saying things like that, it means you’re about to blow (become famous). So I thought, ‘this must be it.’”

“So, I have a lot of gay friends—my people—and I know their sexuality. I love them to death. I have nothing against them whatsoever,” he said. “But I’m not going to agree to something that I’m not, just because some people might put labels on others. For me, let God judge.”
