Jake Paul has boldly stated that he would defeat former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua with ease if the two ever squared off in the ring.
Joshua, who suffered a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois for his fourth professional defeat six months ago, has been out of the title picture since then. Meanwhile, Paul is coming off a unanimous decision victory over boxing legend Mike Tyson last November, a former world champion himself, albeit now 23 years older than Paul.
Not one to shy away from a challenge, Paul has called out several high-profile fighters, including Canelo Alvarez, Conor McGregor, and Floyd Mayweather. Now, it seems Joshua is next on his list.
“I want to fight Anthony Joshua,” Paul declared during episode 64 of his BS podcast. “And I know that I will f*ing beat Anthony Joshua’s a. He doesn’t have a chin, has no skill, and he’s stiff. I love you, Anthony; we’re friends, all this s**t, but I will; I want to fight you.”
Paul’s challenge to Joshua has certainly raised some eyebrows, with fans eager to see if the two will eventually meet in the ring.
