JAMB Reschedules 2025 UTME to April 24, Releases Exam Slip Printing Guidelines
Candidates urged to print exam notification slips early as JAMB adjusts UTME date by one day to accommodate partner agencies.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a new date for the commencement of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), shifting it from April 25 to Thursday, April 24, 2025.
In a statement signed by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Board said the one-day adjustment was made to accommodate critical commitments by JAMB and its partner agencies.
Ahead of the examination, candidates can now print their examination notification slips from Saturday, April 19, 2025, through the official portal. The slip contains essential details such as the exam date, venue, time, and other important instructions.
How to Print Your 2025 UTME Notification Slip:
JAMB outlined the following steps for printing the notification slips:
- Visit www.jamb.gov.ng
- Click on “2025 UTME Slip Printing”
- Enter your registration number
- Click “Print Examination Slip”
The Board emphasized the importance of candidates printing their slips and familiarizing themselves with their assigned centres at least one or two days before the exam. This, JAMB said, would help minimize confusion and ensure a smooth examination experience.
Reiterating the updated schedule, JAMB noted that all candidates would be placed within their selected examination towns, and none would be assigned to centres outside those preferences.
“To reiterate, the 2025 UTME will begin on Thursday, April 24. Candidates are advised to confirm their exam details early to avoid last-minute hitches,” the statement added.
