Veteran of Nollywood Kanayo O. Kanayo has brought his first son, Clinton Mbaise, into the film business.
The veteran actor revealed that Mbaise will be joining his production company, Simpliciter Associates Productions, as an assistant production manager and personal assistant to him.
Kanayo recently stressed in a video posted on his Instagram account that his son is there to work and shouldn’t be treated preferentially.
In his words;
“This is Clinton Onyeze Mbaise, my first son. And he is joining us today as assistant production manager and as my personal assistant,” he said.
“Do not treat him like my son. It is a warning I am giving to everybody. He is here to work. He is going to earn a fee like every other person. Do not begin to say na K.O.K son. I no dey for that kind thing. Treat him as a member of the production crew.”
Mbaise recently received his information and communication technology degree from Babcock University, Kanayo also revealed.
He added that Mbaise studied filmmaking and management before proceeding with further studies.
