Kano Pillars have lifted the suspension of their technical adviser, Usman Abdallah. Abdallah was suspended in February following poor results and an incident involving the fans after the team’s goalless draw against Bayelsa United on matchday 22 at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
During Abdallah’s suspension, his assistant, Ahmed Garba Yaro, took charge of the team, with the suspension being extended into March.
The club announced on X, “All issues have now been resolved. Technical Adviser Usman Abdallah has returned after the misunderstanding with the fans and will lead the team for the remainder of the season. Welcome back, Gaffer!”
Kano Pillars currently sit in eighth place on the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) table, with 44 points from 31 matches.
