Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has presented a proposed budget of ₦580.32 billion for the 2025 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.
He described the budget as the “Budget of Economic and Infrastructural Consolidation,” highlighting its focus on promoting economic growth and enhancing infrastructure throughout the state.
The budget allocates ₦453 billion for capital projects and ₦127 billion for recurrent expenditures.
In response, the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mohammed Samaila Bagudo, assured the governor of the legislature’s commitment to swiftly reviewing and passing the budget.
The proposal reflects the administration’s focus on sustainable development and long-term prosperity for Kebbi State.
