Lagos fire service put out Ladipo plank market inferno

The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service has swiftly put out a severe overnight fire at the renowned Ladipo Pako Market on Iganmu Road, Orile, Lagos.

According to a statement released by the Director of the agency  Magaret  Adeseye, the fire was first reported at 23:45hrs, prompting a coordinated effort from fire crews stationed at Sari Iganmu, Ajegunle, Ilupeju, and Bolade Stations of the Agency.

No casualties were recorded during the operations as the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Adeseye also acknowledged the support of the Federal Fire Service, Lagos State Environmental Protection and Management Agency ( LASEMA) and the Nigerian Police Force for providing security backup.
