Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed his deep condolences following the death of Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi, the wife of the Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Cornelius Ojelabi.
In a message shared on his Facebook page on Monday, Governor Sanwo-Olu extended his heartfelt sympathy to Pastor Ojelabi, urging him to take comfort in the memories of his late wife during this sorrowful time.
The governor’s message read, “I would like to express my sincere condolences to Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the APC Chairman of Lagos State, on the passing of his beloved wife, Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi. My thoughts are with you during this difficult period.”
Sanwo-Olu further honored the memory of the deceased, noting her kindness and the positive impact she had on those around her. “This is an incredibly difficult loss, but I encourage you to find strength in the remarkable life Mrs. Esther Ojelabi lived. She was not only a devoted mother but also a person whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of many. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.”
The governor concluded by offering his prayers for comfort, stating, “May God bless her soul and grant you the peace and strength needed in this time of grief. We stand with you and share in your sorrow, and we are here for you.”
