Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is set to host the South West Governors at the State House in Ikeja on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
The governors expected to attend include Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, and Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State.
The South West Governors’ Forum will convene to discuss several important regional matters, particularly focusing on agriculture and food security, aimed at boosting economic growth and fostering collaboration for enhanced development within the zone. The security of lives and property will also be a key agenda point.
This upcoming meeting follows a similar session held in Lagos on June 10, 2024, during which Governor Sanwo-Olu was unanimously appointed as Chairman of the forum.
