Lookman Nominated for Europa League Player of the Week

The UEFA Europa League Player of the Week title has nominated Ademola Lookman.

Lookman was the driving force behind Atalanta’s thrilling 3-0 triumph over Olympic Marseille on Thursday night in Ligue 1.

Nigeria scored a goal and contributed to the encounter.

At the half-hour mark, the 26-year-old started scoring for La Dea.

At 52 minutes, the winger again set up Matteo Ruggeri for the second goal.The former Leicester City player has now scored 12 goals and provided eight assists across all competitions for Atalanta this season.

Lookman will battle AS Roma’s Mile Svilar for the individual accolade.

Atalanta will face Bayer Leverkusen in the final in Dublin on Wednesday, May 22.
