Manchester United to Sell Four Players to Fund £92.5m Deal for Cunha and Delap

Manchester United is reportedly preparing to offload four players in order to fund a £92.5 million double deal for Wolves’ Matheus Cunha and Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap. The club’s manager, Ruben Amorim, is keen to strengthen his squad at Old Trafford, targeting a new striker, forward, and goalkeeper to provide competition and potentially replace key players like Rasmus Hojlund and Andre Onana.

According to talkSPORT, Manchester United is considering the sale of several players currently out on loan, including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Antony. The club is also said to be ready to part ways with Alejandro Garnacho this summer.

Both Delap and Cunha are expected to cost nearly £100 million combined, and their potential arrivals could significantly impact the Red Devils’ lineup. However, the team’s disappointing Premier League campaign so far, where they are languishing in 14th place, has put additional pressure on Amorim. The manager and his squad are now focused on securing the Europa League title as a way to salvage what has been a challenging season.
