The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Tunji Alausa, has addressed concerns regarding President Bola Tinubu’s absence from Nigeria, clarifying that it is not due to medical reasons.
President Tinubu’s extended stay abroad following the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Saudi Arabia had sparked speculations about his health and whereabouts.
However, Minister Alausa refuted these rumors, asserting that the President’s absence is not linked to any medical issues.
During an appearance on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief, Minister Alausa emphasized the government’s focus on developing a healthcare system for all Nigerians, highlighting the country’s large population of 220 million people.
He underscored that President Tinubu’s well-being is of paramount importance, as he leads the nation in the right direction.
Dispelling any notions of health concerns surrounding the President, Minister Alausa reassured the public that President Tinubu is in good health and receiving some of his medical care within Nigeria.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services for all citizens, emphasizing that the President’s health status reflects the broader healthcare initiatives aimed at benefiting the entire population.
