Mohamed Salah became the latest Premier League player to score and assist in more than 30 English Premier League games after scoring in Liverpool’s win against Brentford on Saturday, February 17.
The 31-year-old attacker, who returned from a hamstring injury sustained while on service with Egypt at AFCON 2023, scored with a clean finish as the Reds defeated the Bees 4-1.
The Egyptian attacker had already set up his team’s second goal by superbly assisting Alexis MacAllister’s goal, as Liverpool retained their lead in the Premier League standings.
According to the BBC, Salah has scored and assisted in 30 league games. Only Wayne Rooney (36), Thierry Henry (32) and Alan Shearer (31) have done it more often.
