Mohbad: Nigeria Police To Unravel Circumstances Leading To Death

Within 24 hours of his burial, the Nigeria Police Force has said it would launch a comprehensive investigation into the death of Nigerian rapper and singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The late Mohbad died on Tuesday, September 12 and has since been buried on Wednesday in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, according to Islamic rights.

While circumstances leading to his death remain shrouded in controversy, the Police have, however, taken the gauntlet.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a Statement revealed that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa has been saddled with the task of unraveling the cause of the death of the late Singer who was aged 27.

“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends, and fans of the late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, who recently passed away. We understand the concerns regarding his untimely demise.

“The Nigeria Police Force is committed to a comprehensive investigation into this matter, as the Lagos State Commissioner of Police has been tasked to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death. Rest assured, updates will be provided as investigations unfold,” Adejobi assured.

He called on individuals to assist in the best way possible as the process is expected to be detailed and thorough

“We encourage family members or close associates with valuable information to approach the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to assist in this process.

“In the meantime, we kindly request that individuals refrain from making statements or engaging in activities that could jeopardize the ongoing investigation.

“Your trust and support are deeply valued,” the FPRO solicited.
