Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti expresses his conviction that monogamy is ineffective and recounts how Fela had 27 spouses and over 100 girlfriends.
When asked about his thoughts on monogamy in a recent interview, Kuti said that it does not work and that successful men should have the backing of many goddesses bestowed upon them by their ancestors.
He then divulged shocking news about his grandfather, the legendary Fela Kuti.
Seun revealed that, in addition to Fela’s 27 spouses, he had over 100 concubines, many of whom lived in the family home.
