Mr Macaroni Clarifies Role in Don Jazzy and D’Banj Reconciliation

Renowned comedian and social media influencer, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has addressed speculations regarding his involvement in the recent reconciliation between music icons Michael Collins Ajereh (Don Jazzy) and Daniel Oyebanjo (D’Banj).

The celebrated duo, who co-founded the iconic Mo Hit Records in 2004, experienced a well-publicized rift in 2012, leading to their separation.

However, on Friday, a heartwarming reunion took place, as Don Jazzy and D’Banj seemingly reconciled after 12 years apart.

A now-viral video shared by D’Banj on Instagram, featuring both artists embracing and exchanging pleasantries, marked a significant moment for fans of Nigerian music.

The video, which also served as a promotional clip for D’Banj’s new single ‘Since 04,’ highlighted the nostalgic tribute to their time together at Mo Hit Records.

Amidst the celebratory atmosphere, Mr Macaroni found himself at the center of speculation after an old tweet resurfaced, suggesting his intention to reconcile D’Banj and Don Jazzy.

However, the comedian clarified that he played no direct role in the reconciliation, as both artists had already maintained an amicable relationship.

Taking to social media to address the speculation, Mr Macaroni explained, “Well, I didn’t do any reconciliation because they have been cool.

But I’m so glad I can come back to this tweet and smile because Jah knows I have always loved these two with all my heart.”

Despite not being the catalyst for the reunion, Mr Macaroni expressed joy at witnessing the reconciliation, emphasizing his enduring admiration for both artists.

The reconciliation between Don Jazzy and D’Banj has been met with widespread excitement and serves as a testament to the enduring bond between two of Nigeria’s most influential music figures.
