Michael Olise’s arrival at Bayern Munich has delighted Jamal Musiala.
After completing his transfer, Olise’s official announcement as a Bayern Munich player was made on Sunday.
On a five-year deal reportedly worth €60 million, the winger departed Crystal Palace for the Bavarians.
Speaking about joining Olise’s squad, Musiala called the French junior international a superb talent.
“We used to play together in Chelsea academy, it was nice!,” Musiala was quoted by Fabrizio Romano
“He’s super talented, his skills are excellent.
“He has scored many goals at Palace so… I’m happy that he’s joining Bayern.”
Olise said talks with Bayern were very positive, and is very happy to now be playing for such a big club
“It’s a great challenge, and that’s exactly what I was looking for. I want to prove myself at this level and play my part in ensuring that we win as many titles as possible with our team in the coming years.”
Olise joined Hayes and Yeading around the age of six, before joining the Chelsea Academy
He was a youth player at Arsenal, Chelsea (spending seven years with them before leaving aged 14), and Manchester City.
At international level Olise is still eligible to play for France, England, Nigeria and Algeria
He is currently with the French U-23 squad for the Paris Olympic games.
