My Dream To Acquire Sheffield United Is Alive – Mmobuosi
Nigerian businessman, Dozy Mmobuosi, has refuted claims that his £115million takeover of Sheffield United is set to collapse.
This comes as there are indications which suggest a possible frosty relationship between Mmobuosi and the club’s current owner, Prince Abdullah, a situation believed to have placed a bold question mark over the entire ownership deal for the Championship side.
However, the United Kingdom based businessman and tech entrepreneur, Mmobuosi, has said that he has not withdrawn his bid to acquire English Club, Sheffield United.
The business mogul made this disclosure in his verified social media page.
“I wish to state categorically that I have not withdrawn my bid to acquire Sheffield United Football Club.
Amid claims the tycoon forked out £8.85 million to support the financially-stricken club, he vowed to continue to work with the experts and professionals I hired to buy the club.
“Earlier today I had positive and constructive conversations with the club’s chairman Yusuf Giansiracusa and chief executive officer Stephen Bettis and I will continue to do so.
“This is my commitment to the fans of Sheffield United and I look forward to reaching a positive outcome,” Mmobuosi assured.
