Afrobeats Icon, Davido has posted a throwback photo of his mother, Veronica Adeleke, who died many years ago calling her a “Baddie”
The ‘OBO’ crooner revealed this while paying tribute to his late mother in a recent post on Instagram.
In his words;
“My mom was a baddie.”
Recall that Davido’s mum, Mrs Veronica Adeleke, died on March 6, 2003, at the age of 39.
She was a lecturer at Babcock University, where Davido would later earn a degree in music.
She also founded a band called ‘Davido’s Band’ in honour of her son.
Davido’s two daughters, Imade and Hailey, are named after her.
