After Michael Folorunsho’s loan at Hellas Verona expires, Serie A champion Napoli is eager to keep the midfield on their team.
26-year-old Folorunsho has been contributing to the Giallo Blu’s success despite their continuous relegation struggle; they are now two points from safety in the Italian top division, in 14th place.
After 26 league games this season, Folorunsho has four goals and one assist. He also won the Serie A February Goal of the Month title.
Even though Hellas Verona didn’t win in February, their 2-2 tie with 36-time Italian champion Juventus at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi was their best result of the month.
