Nationwide Protests Erupt in FCT as Nigerians Rally for Change

A nationwide protest has kicked off in the Federal Capital Territory, marking the October 1 demonstration tagged #FearlessInOctober.

This event serves as a continuation of the earlier #EndBadGovernance protests held from August 1 to 10, reflecting the widespread economic hardship facing many Nigerians.

Protesters began gathering as early as 7 AM at the bustling Utako market in the FCT, where the demonstration is currently in full swing.

Damilare Adenola, Director of Mobilisation for the Take It Back Movement, voiced concerns over the severe challenges citizens are enduring, attributing these hardships to the Federal Government’s policies.

Participants are expressing their frustrations and calling for urgent reforms to address the pressing issues that have affected their livelihoods.

The protest highlights a growing discontent among Nigerians, who demand accountability and a shift in governance to alleviate their suffering.
