Minister of Health, Muhammad Ali Pate, reveals that the Federal Government plans to begin domestic manufacturing of in-vitro diagnostics, IVDs, generic pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and other medical devices critical to unlocking Nigeria’s health care value chain.
In a statement via his X account on Wednesday, he said that Tinubu’s administration is committed to stimulating local production of in-vitro diagnostics and biologics in Nigeria.
In his words; “We are moving forward in 2024 to unlock Nigeria’s healthcare value chains, inspired by Mr President.
“Domestic manufacturing of in-vitro diagnostics (IVDs), generic pharmaceuticals, vaccines, biologics, and medical devices is critical to advancing the health and wellbeing of all Nigerians.”
