Nigeria vs. Ghana Semi-Final Headlines Unity Cup as Premium Tickets Hit ₦532K

Tickets for the much-anticipated Unity Cup semi-final clash between Nigeria and Ghana are now available to the general public, with premium seats at the Gtech Community Stadium in West London priced as high as ₦532,038 (£250). The announcement, made by the Super Eagles via their official X account, confirms that sales for the Afro-Caribbean Invitational Tournament have gone live.

Branded as “The Unity Cup: The Best in the West,” the tournament will take place in the final week of May 2025 and will feature four national teams—Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago. The event kicks off on Tuesday, May 27, with Jamaica facing Trinidad and Tobago in the opening semi-final. Nigeria will then take on long-time rivals Ghana on Wednesday, May 28.

The competition concludes on Saturday, May 31, with the third-place playoff and the final scheduled for the same day, ensuring all teams participate in the tournament’s finale.

Priority access tickets have already sold out, with only general admission tickets remaining on the official website, unitycup2025.com. Prices for standard seating start at ₦31,922 (£15), while premium spots—especially in the South Stand’s elite sections—are priced significantly higher. For the final matchday, tickets can reach up to ₦744,853 (£350), offering access to both concluding fixtures.

The South Stand, serving as the stadium’s premium area, will host VIPs, media, officials, and hospitality guests. All matches will be held at Brentford FC’s Gtech Community Stadium, which seats 17,250 and previously hosted games during UEFA Women’s Euro 2022.

Originally launched in 2002 with the iconic Nigeria vs. Jamaica “NiJam” match, the Unity Cup has evolved into a cultural celebration of unity through football. Brentford ambassador and former Jamaican international Marcus Gayle said: “We are thrilled to host the Unity Cup at the Gtech. It’s a great platform for players and a unifying celebration for our communities.”
