The chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa says the days of Notorious Bandit Leader, Bello Turji and other terrorists are numbered as troops are determined to ending Insecurity in Zamfara and the North-West Zone
He also disclosed that the recent killing of Kachalla Halilu Sububu, a bandit leader operating in Western Zamfara is another success by the troops.
The bandit leader was killed in Kwaren Korea, a community in Maru local government area.
General Christopher added that a joint military theatre operation code named” Operation Fansar Yamma Northwest” Will be established to tackle the spread of Insecurity in the region
Additional helicopters and other equipment according to him will be deployed to the country
The defence chief stated this when he paid a courtesy visit on the Governor of Zamfara state.
