NPFL Stars Tackle Dosu Joseph FC in Friendly

In a friendly game at the Rehabilitation Mini Stadium in Ojodu Berger, Lagos, on Wednesday (today) at 8 a.m., a few well-known players from the Nigeria Premier Football League will face Dosu Joseph FC.

Super Eagles and Remo Stars goalkeeper Kayode Bankole, Gbade Adelowo, and Joshua Akpan, both of Shooting Stars Sports Club FC, are among the NPFL players anticipated to compete.

Others are Abdullahi Lawal of Shooting Stars, Agbara, and David Ojukwu, formerly of Enyimba and currently playing for a club in Bangladesh.

The friendly match provides an opportunity for the NPFL players and their foreign-based counterparts to fraternise with themselves and the rank-file of their former club, Joseph Dosu FC.

The convener of the event, John Dosu, a goalkeeper trainer at 3SC, said, “We are looking forward to the friendly match scheduled for Wednesday, and all the players in both teams are fully ready for the game.

“It is going to be fun, exciting, and a glamorous game. The venue would be filled to the brim because many of these NPFL stars started their football careers in Lagos.”
