OFFICIAL: CAF Unveils Super Eagles’ Provisional AFCON 2023 Squad

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tentative roster for the Super Eagles was revealed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Wednesday.

Jose Peseiro, the head coach, selected 41 players for the interim team.

Ojo Olorunleke, Amas Obasogie, and Christian Nwoke—three players based at home—make the list.

Royal Antwerp midfielder Alhassan Yusuf is named in the squad for the first time, while former Golden Eaglets captain Kelechi Nwakali is also listed.

Their final group game is scheduled for the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium on January 22.
