Okoye Undergoes Successful Surgery

Maduka Okoye, Nigerian international who suffered a wrist injury during last week’s Zebras League match against Genoa, has undergone successful surgery, according to Serie A club Udinese.

Doctor Loris Pegoli performed the procedure at the La Madonnina clinic in Milan.

Okoye is now expected to start his rehabilitation and will be sidelined for weeks.

The 24-year-old established himself as Udinese’s first choice goalkeeper in the second half of last season.

The shot stopper played a crucial role in the club’s Serie A survival in the 2023/24 campaign

He has made 14 league appearances for the club this season.
