In a promising start to the electoral process, voting materials arrived promptly on Saturday at Oke Imikan, Open Space, Alade Ward 02, in the Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The first voter cast their ballot at 8:41 AM, marking the beginning of an important day for local democracy.

As anticipation built, prospective voters flocked to the polling center to verify their names displayed on the wall. By 8:30 AM, over 50 eager citizens had already formed a queue, ready to exercise their right to vote.

Before voting commenced, INEC ad hoc staff took the time to address the gathering, providing clear instructions on the voting process. They reminded voters to carefully fold their ballot papers to ensure the confidentiality of their choices before placing them in the ballot box.

The atmosphere was charged with civic enthusiasm as the community prepared to participate in shaping their future.
