The late Nigerian music icon Onyeka Onwenu, also known as Elegant Stallion, will be laid to rest Friday in Lagos.
The singer passed away on July 30, 2024, at Reddington Hospital in Ikeja after collapsing at an event honoring Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
According to the family’s burial arrangements, her funeral service will take place at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, with her burial scheduled to follow at a private vault in Ikoyi.
The funeral flyer indicates that the Service of Songs will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the burial taking place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. She is survived by her two sons.
