Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol believes that Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen will score more goals for Arsenal than Kai Havertz.
After advising the Gunners to sign the Nigerian international, Nicol told ESPN that Osimhen has the potential to convert more goal-scoring opportunities than the German international.
“If somebody said to you, you can either have [Kai] Havertz or [Victor] Osimhen. Are you really going to take Havertz?
“You are not going to take in a million years over Osimhen. So, if you can afford it, I agree with Shaka’s point.
“When it really matters and you have only one chance in a game, again the question is, is it going to be Havertz or Osimhen?
“Everybody will say he scored in the Champions League final, but the truth is he takes too many chances to score that Osimhen won’t.”
