The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has announced that its passport application portal is now fully operational after undergoing system upgrades and maintenance.
In a statement signed by NIS Public Relations Officer, DCI KT Udo, the service explained that the portal had been temporarily closed to allow for necessary updates. The statement, titled “Passport Application Portal Now Back in Optimal Service,” reads:
“The Nigeria Immigration Service is pleased to inform the public that our online passport application portal is now back in optimal service following a successful system upgrade and maintenance.
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused during the recent system upgrade and maintenance period, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
“The Service remains committed to providing excellent service to Nigerians worldwide.”
