Paul Pogba will star in a French film set to be released in April 2025, according to sources who spoke with ESPN on Monday.
Pogba is serving a four-year suspension for a doping infraction handed down in February.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner stated at the time that he has never intentionally taken banned substances and intended to appeal the judgment.
The film is called 4 Zéros, and is a sequel to a successful 3 Zéros, released in 2002.
According to Le Parisien, which first reported on Pogba’s role in the film, the 31-year-old will play a youth team football coach.
Pogba’s appeal for the doping charge will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and should his appeal be successful, his ban could be reduced.
