President Tinubu Appoints New Board for Family Homes Funds Limited

President Bola Tinubu has appointed a new board for Family Homes Funds Limited (FHFL) as part of his administration’s efforts to invigorate growth within Nigeria’s real estate sector. The announcement was made in a statement issued on Tuesday, July 2, by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

The newly appointed board is chaired by Demola Adebise and comprises professionals with extensive experience in finance, operations, and real estate. The members include:

1. Demola Adebise – Board Chairman
2. Abdul Muttalab – Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director
3. Abdullahi Musa – Executive Director (Finance)
4. Emeka Henry Inegbu – Executive Director (Operations)
5. Representative of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated – Non-Executive Director
6. Representative of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) – Non-Executive Director
7. Sam Okagbue – Non-Executive Director
8. Musa Ahmed – Non-Executive Director
9. Dr. Eniang Nkang – Non-Executive Director
10. Ms. Bilkisu Usman – Non-Executive Director

In the statement, Ngelale emphasized that President Tinubu’s appointments aim to consolidate activities that promote growth opportunities in the real estate sector. He expects that the expertise, experience, and commitment of the new board members will drive the Family Homes Funds towards achieving its mandate.

“The President expects that the new members of the board of this important agency will deploy their expertise, experience, and commitment to steer the Family Homes Funds towards achieving its mandate of driving growth and development in the real estate sector,” the statement read.

The formation of this board signifies a strategic move by the federal government to strengthen the real estate sector, which is crucial for national economic growth and development. The FHFL is poised to play a pivotal role in addressing housing challenges and enhancing the sector’s contribution to the economy under the new leadership.
