Multiple Awards winning Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has announced the cancellation of all his scheduled performances for December. The singer, who was set to embark on a tour of Lagos, Abuja, and Benin, cited health concerns as the reason behind the decision.
“It breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing anywhere this December,”
“Been years of touring, I’ve ignored my health and I need time to recuperate. 2024, we go again, love.” Rema wrote on his Instagram story.
This announcement surprised his admirers, who had been looking forward to his live appearances. Nonetheless, the singer’s fans have shown compassion and support for his decision to put his health first.
Rema’s relentless touring schedule has undoubtedly taken a toll on his physical and mental well-being, but fans can be rest assured that he will be back and better come 2024.
