Remi Tinubu Arrives in New York Ahead of 78th UN General Assembly

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has arrived in New York ahead of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 78).

Prof. Tijjani Bande, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, greeted her upon arrival.

Senator Tinubu will speak at the Nigeria Economic Trade Summit, the Africa First Ladies Peace Mission side discussion on Gender Actions for Peace, and the DUSUSU Foundation, among other high-level gatherings.

The First Lady had a brief detour in Madeira, Portugal, on her way to New York, where she met with the Nigerian Ambassador to Portugal, Alex Kefas.
