Accreditation and voting have officially begun in the Ikoku area (units 14 and 15) of Port Harcourt City for the Rivers State local government elections.
The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) had previously assured the public that all preparations were in place for today’s election.
Tobin Tamunotonye, the RSIEC Commissioner for Public Affairs and Civic Education, confirmed that sensitive materials have been dispatched to various polling stations across the region.
