The Dutch football great, known for his illustrious playing career with Feyenoord, Arsenal, and Manchester United, is now embarking on a new chapter as he takes over management of the Eredivisie side.
According to a post by renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X on Friday, Van Persie will be joined on his coaching staff by Rene Hake, who previously worked as an assistant under Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
“Robin van Persie signs in today as new Feyenoord head coach until June 2027. Former Erik ten Hag’s assistant Rene Hake will join his staff too,” Romano wrote.
