The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu has commenced the relocation of his office to an area outside the vicinity of the Government House.
The new office is situated at No. 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue, close to the Government House.
This development comes after Shuaibu withdrew his lawsuit at the Federal High Court last week to stop what he claimed were plots by the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, to have him removed from office.
In a suit with reference number: FHC/ABJ/CS/1027/2023, the Deputy Governor was seeking to stop the governor from making attempts to impeach him.
But in a statement, he personally signed, Shaibu who has been at loggerheads with the Edo helmsman further described the governor as his boss and senior brother.
People would have thought that this was reconciliation in the making, but the Deputy Governor has now relocated his office.
Giving his reasons for withdrawing the case, the Deputy Governor said some well-meaning Edolites, and Nigerians, have held meetings with him and his principal.
