Vice President Kashim Shettima, Labour Party (LP) chieftains, All Progressives Congress (APC) governors and chieftains, and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains are on the ground at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) awaiting the court’s decision.
The APC governors in attendance are Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Abdullahi Sule of Nassarawa, Hope Uzodimma of Imo, Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti, and Mai Mala Buni of Yobe.
APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu, and President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff are also there.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed is among the top PDP dignitaries in Abuja.
LP’s Julius Abure and Yunusa Tanko, the party’s presidential campaign spokesman, are among those present for the verdict.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) are disputing President Bola Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
