Famous American rapper Snoop Dogg will carry the Paris Olympic flame down the final stretch before the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, with approximately 10,000 athletes aboard boats on the Seine River.
Before the ceremony kicks off, the rapper will carry a torch through the Paris suburb Saint-Denis, the town mayor, Mathieu Hanotin confirmed on his official X.
In the Mayor’s words;
“Saint Denis: last step before the Eiffel Tower. An international cast @SnoopDogg for the last stretch of the Olympic Flame.”
Other carriers of the torch include French rapper MC Solaar and French actress Laetitia Casta.
