Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has promised to intensify developmental projects in 2025 as part of his administration’s ongoing commitment to improving the state’s infrastructure and welfare. The governor made this announcement on Wednesday during the opening of the 11th regular meeting of the State Executive Council in Sokoto.
In his address, Governor Aliyu highlighted several key projects completed over the past year and reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to further transformative initiatives in the coming year. “We have worked tirelessly to deliver on key projects this year, and Insha Allah, more projects are coming in 2025,” he stated.
He credited the administration’s progress to the unwavering support of the state executive council members and the people of Sokoto, emphasizing the crucial role their collaboration has played in achieving these milestones. “I commend the dedication and commitment of council members and the good people of Sokoto. Your steadfast support has made our achievements possible,” he added.
Aliyu urged residents to continue supporting the government’s initiatives, stressing that teamwork remains essential for ongoing development. He also praised the executive council for its thorough work in preparing and presenting the 2025 budget to the state legislature, describing it as a significant step in the administration’s developmental plans.
“Our focus is to ensure that every project aligns with the needs of our people, and I am optimistic that 2025 will be another year of remarkable achievements,” the governor concluded.
